Celebrations

This term, we are learning about Celebrations for Inquiry! The book we read this week was called  "Birthdays". They are one of our favourite celebrations.

100 days!

Today, Room 27 celebrated our 100th day at school. We had such a good time making groups of ten, counting and colouring. Do you like our hats? We drew ten things on each piece of paper. Ten groups of ten!

Hairy Mclary!

We have had an eventful few weeks! One of our favourite things was going all the way to Takapuna on the bus to see Hairy Mclary.

Such a long bus ride!

Teddy Bear's Picnic

After reading the amazing book "We're going on a bear hunt" we decided to have a teddy bear's picnic! It was so much fun!

Butterfly Art

We made these gorgeous butterflies for our big art exhibition. We started by sketching lots of butterflies! Then we traced them onto laminating paper. When we had drawn carefully, we turned them over and coloured them in. Do you like them?
